As we publish Positive Health PH Online Issue 262 end of April 2020, the entire world, at various stages of journeying through the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, has been viewing with horror and disbelief the myriad repeated daily surreal apocalyptic scenes previously confined to futuristic sci-fi and horror films. Following on from Issue 261 mid-March with significant clinical information included about treatments with IV and oral Vitamin C, I have, as a bona fide qualified (PhD molecular biology, McGill University) scientist, been reading, researching and surveying the widest possible spectrum of information and opinion about COVID-19, several of which are appended below.[1-10]

I don’t think it outrageous of me to opine that the world – far from being a happy, rosy place – is currently mean-spirited, with humanity fighting each other with vicious, sour abandon. Regardless of whether you look at historical films such as 1917, Nazi Germany holocaust camps, films from Syria’s Idlib, Twitter Feeds populated with opponents slogging it out, the tragic suicide of Love-Island’s host Caroline Flack; harmony and peace are definitely not operative words to describe the emotional climate of the world we currently inhabit.

As we publish February Issue 260 of Positive Health PH Online I have been overwhelmed by the vast torrents of emotional, psychological, political enmity / conflict permeating throughout all factions of society. I have been constantly appalled by the brazenly discourteous even libellous language – words including liar, cheat  - spoken by journalists and politicians alike which have become ‘normal’. As a long-standing publisher, I have always been wary of falling foul of libel laws, which don’t appear to apply to the broadcast or social media anymore.
